CAREERS: Peng promoted to CEO

<p>McCann-Erickson has formally promoted Mr T.H. Peng to chief </p><p>executive officer and area director of Greater China - China, Hong Kong </p><p>and Taiwan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Peng, most recently the president of McCann-Erickson Taiwan, takes </p><p>over from Mr Joop Broeren, who recently departed for Europe to take up a </p><p>posting within the McCann network there. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Peng is to manage offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou </p><p>and Shanghai, including policy-making, business operations, management, </p><p>account management and creative work. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Peng, meanwhile, confirmed that McCann-Erickson Guangming Guangzhou </p><p>deputy managing director Mr Superman Cheng had recently resigned of his </p><p>own accord. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Cheng has been replaced by Ms Wendy Tseng who has worked at </p><p>McCann-Erickson Taiwan for some years now. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Peng said he would allocate half of his time in Hong Kong and the </p><p>other half in China. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In addition, McCann-Erickson Communications Group Taiwan CEO Eliot Lin </p><p>will head up McCann Taiwan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Peng added McCann-Erickson plans to set up McCann Relationship </p><p>Marketing, Future Band, McCann-Erickson Healthcare and Online Solution </p><p>in Taiwan, as well as McCann Relationship Marketing in Shanghai. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
