ESPN Star Sports has appointed Maggie Thien as vice-president,
human resources. Thien previously worked at Credit Suisse First Boston
and MasterCard International. Andy Rylance joined ESS as director of
engineering from NTL in the UK. ESS also appointed Richard Woo as
manager of affiliate sales. He will be based in Singapore and will
report to Adam Zecha, vice-president of affiliate sales. Woo will be
responsible for syndication and affiliates sales in Southeast Asia. He
previously worked at Singapore Cable Vision.
