<p>ESPN Star Sports has appointed Maggie Thien as vice-president, </p><p>human resources. Thien previously worked at Credit Suisse First Boston </p><p>and MasterCard International. Andy Rylance joined ESS as director of </p><p>engineering from NTL in the UK. ESS also appointed Richard Woo as </p><p>manager of affiliate sales. He will be based in Singapore and will </p><p>report to Adam Zecha, vice-president of affiliate sales. Woo will be </p><p>responsible for syndication and affiliates sales in Southeast Asia.
