Sally Young has been appointed executive director, news advertising sales, North Asia for Turner International. Based in Hong Kong, Young will be responsible for the advertising sales activities of CNN International in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, mainland China and Macau. Young joins Turner from BBC World, where she was account director for Asia-Pacific. Prior to that, she worked with Discovery Channel Asia and NBC Asia. She also spent seven years with USA Today International.
