Careers: Movers - Appointment at Newsweek
Newsweek has named George Wehrfritz as Hong Kong bureau chief and Asian economics correspondent, while Moscow bureau chief Christian Caryl will take over the vacated Tokyo bureau. Wehrfritz was previously Tokyo bureau chief since September 1998. In his new role, he will be responsible for covering business, economics and political news trends across Asia. Caryl, who takes up his new post next month, has spent four years in Russia.
