CAREERS MEDIA: Webster to take helm at JWT Philippines

<p>J. Walter Thompson Philippines has appointed Mr Mark Webster as its new </p><p>managing director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Prior to his appointment, Mr Webster was managing director of JWT </p><p>Vietnam. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He has also served as North Asia regional account director for De Beers </p><p>at JWT, and was at the helm of the account in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan </p><p>and Korea. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Webster began his advertising career in London at DMB&B, which he </p><p>joined as a trainee and left a decade later to set up his own </p><p>business. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>As a senior partner of Knightsbridge Communications London, Mr Webster </p><p>worked on communications projects as a consultant to companies such as </p><p>IBM and Telstar Records. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Later, Mr Webster moved on to JWT Hong Kong as director of business </p><p>development and was responsible for all new business developments and </p><p>key clients that included Nortel and NBC/CNBC. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>With his expertise he helped spin off Enterprise and then Dialog, two </p><p>major divisions of JWT Hong Kong, into successful standalone entities. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
