CAREERS MEDIA: Stone helms Emphasis, James moves to Turner

<p>Mr Robert Stone has made the leap to Emphasis Custom Media as </p><p>vice-president and general manager after a 13-year tenure with Dow Jones </p><p>& Company. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Having completed the final leg of his tenure with Dow Jones as </p><p>circulation director at the Far Eastern Economic review, Mr Stone brings </p><p>a mix of advertising, sales, marketing and publishing experience to his </p><p>latest post. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Stone also held posts as circulation director and advertising </p><p>director of the Dow Jones-owned Asian Wall Street Journal. In his latest </p><p>role at Emphasis, he oversees all aspects of the company's advertising </p><p>sales, client service and regional marketing activities. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Moving on from a posting as sales manager with THC Press Ltd. Hong Kong, </p><p>Mr Laurence James has joined the Turner Trade Group (TTG) in Hong Kong </p><p>as TTG's first Asia-Pacific account manager. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>TTg, the trade division of Turner Broadcasting Sales, has set up shop in </p><p>Asia-Pacific in addition to offices in London and Atlanta. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr James will work closely with Turner's Asia-Pacific sales team - </p><p>offering advertisers alternatives to ramp up Web and TV budgets. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
