Jakarta agency Macs909 has hired new staff to strengthen its media
department and enable it to compete on an equal footing with
international agencies.
Among them is Mr Indra Sihombing, formerly from Bates Indonesia, who
will be heading up the media department.
Other appointments include two media group heads: Ms Mimin, who joined
the agency from Ammirati Puris Lintas, and Mr Yosep Godho, from
MindShare.
Bringing with him eight years of media experience at international
agencies, Mr Sihombing said he hopes that Macs909 will stand out against
other agencies.
"By adopting international practices, we hope to open up new
opportunities, and we're looking at new alliances in the future," he
said.
Macs909's clients include Matahari, Hewlett-Packett and Lippo Bank.
