CAREERS MEDIA: Newman joins Dow Jones as ad sales director
<p>Ms Tamsin Newman has joined Dow Jones & Company as advertising sales </p><p>director for Greater China, based in Hong Kong. In her new position, she </p><p>will oversee the Global Wall Street Journal, Barron's Magazine and </p><p>WSJ.com sales in Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as all Dow Jones titles </p><p>in China. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Working closely with CNBC, she will also contribute to the creation of </p><p>innovative media packages across Dow Jones products, notably the Asian </p><p>Wall Street Journal, the Far Eastern Economic Review and CNBC Asia. </p><p>Prior to joining Dow Jones, Ms Newman was publishing director for Asset </p><p>Magazine and Digital Asset in Hong Kong. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"The Greater China region represents a strategic market," said Mr </p><p>Michael Wilson, VP of international marketing and sales for Dow Jones & </p><p>Company. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"Tamsin's appointment strengthens the global management team of Dow </p><p>Jones International and allows us to better focus on this important part </p><p>of the world." </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
