Ms Tamsin Newman has joined Dow Jones & Company as advertising sales
director for Greater China, based in Hong Kong. In her new position, she
will oversee the Global Wall Street Journal, Barron's Magazine and
WSJ.com sales in Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as all Dow Jones titles
in China.
Working closely with CNBC, she will also contribute to the creation of
innovative media packages across Dow Jones products, notably the Asian
Wall Street Journal, the Far Eastern Economic Review and CNBC Asia.
Prior to joining Dow Jones, Ms Newman was publishing director for Asset
Magazine and Digital Asset in Hong Kong.
"The Greater China region represents a strategic market," said Mr
Michael Wilson, VP of international marketing and sales for Dow Jones &
Company.
"Tamsin's appointment strengthens the global management team of Dow
Jones International and allows us to better focus on this important part
of the world."
