Grey Worldwide's appointment of a regional HR chief comes on top of

its recruitment of three local HR managers across its Asian network.

Along with regional HR director Martha Collard, Anju Kurien; Satoshi

Ishii, concurrently VP, media director; and Kris Nillawong have been

appointed respectively for India, Japan and Thailand.

Grey has had a director of resources, Alicia Tang, in place in Kuala

Lumpur, its headquarters hub for the company's Malaysian, Singapore and

IndoChina operations, for the past 11 years.

Asia-Pacific president Eric Rosenkranz said Ms Collard will work closely

with Grey's 10 companies in the region to develop strategies to

transform Grey into the agency network of choice for talent and clients

in Asia-Pacific.

Ms Collard is expected to build best practices and consistency

regionwide across a wide HR remit, including recruitment, staff

appraisal systems, compensation and benefit systems, training and career

development plans for executives at all levels.

"We want to ensure we attract and retain the best possible talent," Mr

Rozenkranz said, adding that Ms Collard will revolutionise the agency's

recruitment and retention strategies.
