CAREERS MEDIA: Centro appoints Choi, Cheung to senior posts
<p>Hong Kong-based Centro Digital Pictures has announced further </p><p>senior appointments in its bid to be a leader in the digital </p><p>entertainment and educational entertainment fields. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Francis Choi has been named chief operating officer, while Mr Gordon </p><p>Cheung was tapped for the post of director of business development. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Choi will be responsible for conceiving, designing and executing all </p><p>actions and strategies necessary to translate the group's visions into </p><p>commercial realities. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He has more than 25 years marketing, corporate finance, general </p><p>management and new venture development experience in the </p><p>telecommunications field. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>His last position was with Inmarsat as chief representative in </p><p>China. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Cheung, meanwhile, will oversee the overall strategy and execution </p><p>related to the sales, marketing and distribution of Centro's content </p><p>productions both in domestic and international markets as well as </p><p>developing new channels of distribution. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Cheung brings to Centro more than 20 years of experience in filmed </p><p>entertainment, including 10 years as VP of distribution with Golden </p><p>Harvest Entertainment, Hong Kong. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The latest hirings closely followed the appointment of Mr Stanley Wong </p><p>as chief creative officer. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
