In the Direct category, the gold winners for Asia were 'Hidden sound campaign' developed for Zoo Records by Leo Burnett Hong Kong and Hakuhodo Tokyo's 'Smash' campaign for K's Japan Guitar Company.
'Hidden sound' and 'Smash' also picked up silver Lions in addition to their gold awards.
New Zealand took the Direct Grand Prix along with a gold Lion for Special Group's Orcon Broadband 'Orcon + Iggy' campaign.
Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney won three gold Lions for their Toyota 4WD 'Nothing soft gets in' campaign. Other gold winners out of Australia were 'Photochains' developed for Canon by Leo Burnett Sydney, '4320 LA/SYD' for V Australia by Droga5 Sydney and 'Support scent' by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne in support of Guide Dogs Australia.
'Photochains' and '4320 LA/SYD' also won silver Lions along with 'It's no picnic' developed for Cadbury by George Patterson Y&R Melbourne and 'Sun sound' by Three Drunk Monkeys Sydney for The Cancer Council.
DDB Auckland also took a silver Lion for its 'Live rescue' campaign developed for Coastguard NZ for Search & Rescue Services.
'Photo 5' for Canon Australia by Leo Burnett Sydney, 'Missing pictures' for Tower Insurance by AIM Proximity Auckland, 'Lure the Otaku!' by Dentsu Tokyo for Kinrei Corporation, '6 beers of seperation' by BMF Sydney for Lion Nathan Australia, 'See the love' for Franz China Collection by Ogilvy & Mather Taipei, 'Call for entries' for Award by DDB Sydney and finally 'Photochains' took home a bronze Lion each in this category.
The PR category delivered no gold winners for Asia, but instead a silver Lion for McCann Worldgroup Thailand's 'Love code' for LG, Dentsu Public Relations Tokyo's 'Love cake project' and Dentsu Kansai Osaka's 'The launch of shipbuilding hero' for ship builder Sanoyas Hishino Meisho Corporation.
For Australia, Leo Burnett's 'Photochains' and Three Drunk Monkeys' 'Sun sound' were awarded with a silver Lion in a second category.
India also took home a silver Lion for 'Women against lazy stubble' by BBDO Mumbai for P&G.
TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, along with its partner Paragon Marketing's campaign 'Replay' for Gatorade took home the Grand Prix in the PR Lions category.
In the Promo & Activation category, Saatchi & Saatchi again won gold for the aforementioned Toyota campaign. Ogilvy Shanghai's The North Face 'The Red Flag' was the only winner from Asia, winning a silver Lion.
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne took home a silver Lion for 'Support scent' and Leo Burnett's 'Photochains' won silver in its third category.
Bronze winners from Asia in the category include Leo Burnett Shanghai for 'Non stick pans' for Supor and Leo Burnett with 'Hidden sound campaign' from Greater China, and from Japan, Beacon Tokyo with Nike 'Nike ID Generator' and Dentsu Tokyo with 'Love cake project'.
Ogilvy & Mather Kolkata's AICMed 'Meltdown' campaign was also awarded with a bronze lion.
'Replay' also won the Grand Prix in the Promo & Activation Lions category.
