“I’ve worked with some good clients and people and I’m proud of the projects we have done,” said Campbell.
Y&R Asia president Ambar Brahmachary said: “(Rob) felt this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. He is sad to go but feels he would have regretted it for the rest of his life had he turned it down. Whilst this project will require him to be based temporarily in the US, I know he intends to return to Asia.”
Brahmachary declined to elaborate on whether a restructuring of Y&R’s regional operation is underway. “It is pretty much business as usual,” he said. “Each of the agency CEOs report in to me as does the cross-functional regional management team.”
