Campaign has confirmed that Justin Watson, general manager of marketing communications at Tourism New Zealand, will be delivering the keynote address at Campaign Spotlight Travel on 28 April at the Goodwood Hotel in Singapore.
Watson will be sharing a case study on the award-winning '100% pure you' consumer marketing campaign, sharing what it takes to develop a brand identity that sets your destination apart from others.
He joined Tourism New Zealand from McDonald’s where he held a string of key marketing roles over five years, including director of marketing during his last three-and-a-half years at the fast food company. A marketing veteran with over 13 years' experience, Watson has also held roles at Coca-Cola and DB.
Spanning hotels, resorts, cities and countries, Campaign Spotlight Travel focuses on leveraging new technologies to increase awareness and boost loyalty. Key topics covered range from understanding the trends that shape Asia’s travel industry to using social media to engage your guests, energise your destination and monitor your reputation.
