Campaign House, a dedicated venue for all of the editorial titles in Haymarket’s marketing and communications stable, is returning for its second year at Canopy by Hilton Cannes.
The Campaign House website has details about the programme of editorial and partner sessions, roundtables and events taking place at the venue during the festival, which runs from 22 to 26 June.
The joint sessions hosted by Campaign and Marketing Week will be the first time that the two brands have collaborated since Haymarket acquired Marketing Week, Creative Review and Festival of Marketing from Centaur Media last year.
Campaign’s editors and journalists from its global network of websites, including Campaign Asia, Campaign Canada, Campaign India, Campaign UK and Campaign US, will be reporting from Cannes Lions and taking part in events at Campaign House.
Teams from Marketing Week, Creative Review, PR Week, Performance Marketing World and MM&M will also be based at Campaign House.
In addition, Campaign will host its annual invitation-only beach party at Carlton Beach on the Wednesday of the festival sponsored by the Advertising Association, Bauer Media Group, Camphouse, News UK, Outernet and Vevo.
Campaign is also hosting a session in the Palais des Festivals as part of the Cannes Lions programme.
Gideon Spanier, UK editor-in-chief of Campaign, said: “We are producing a bigger and more ambitious programme of events at Campaign House after our successful debut last year.
“Haymarket now has a bigger house of brands, following the acquisition of Marketing Week and Creative Review, and we look forward to collaborating in new ways at Cannes and beyond.”
Haymarket also has a joint venture with Informa, the owner of Lions, on Spikes Asia.
Arthur Sadoun, the chief executive of Publicis Groupe, was among the speakers at Campaign House last year when he urged agencies to be “optimistic” and not “scared” about the future.
Campaign House is located over three floors of Canopy by Hilton Cannes, a hotel overlooking the port and the Palais des Festivals. Partners confirmed so far include Bauer Media, Camphouse, Google, Publicis Production and Talon.One.
