Café de Coral welcomes customers with accompanying guide dogs
In response to an invitation from the Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association, Café de Coral has become the first restaurant chain in Hong Kong to welcome blind customers with guide dogs. The Association ran a training session for 100 of the 200-location chain's frontline staff members on how to be accommodating to these customers. According to 2009 figures from the Hong Kong Blind Association, there are 120,000 visually impaired people in Hong Kong.
