Cadbury rolls out TV spot for Hall's Malaysia drive

Cadbury Adam's has developed a campaign for its Hall's sweet brand comprising two short spots, which air as a lead in to local Malaysian channel TV3's own promotional programme footage.

The brand has chosen this method as a way to further develop the Hall's sweets brand in the market by using "a refreshing new TV medium called brand environment," said Dinesh Sandhu, director of marketing services at McCann Erickson Malaysia.

"Most brands just tag on a simple message at the start and end of each segment much like a conventional sponsorship. We, instead, created actual animated TV spots."

The TV spots use "a paper cut out, animation" style and scenes common in both action series as well as films.
