CAAS shortlists digital agencies

SINGAPORE - At least three digital agencies are vying to be the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's (CAAS) digital agency-of-record following a tender that initially included 13 agencies.

Agencies reported to be in the running for the business, which involves the management of Changi Airport’s marketing and communications account, are Euro RSCG 4D, Qais Consulting and Tribal DDB.

Each of these agencies has a prior relationship with the airport.

According to the initial tender document, the digital AOR will be appointed for 16 months and the scope of work includes developing a strategy for digital marketing, regular updating of the ChangiAirport.com website, brand positioning, plus developing and launching microsites.

In early April, CAAS appointed Tribal DDB for the redesign and maintenance of a new website for Changi Airport, to be launched in June. The appointment was parallel to the Government agency’s structural reformation that included the creation of a division that would run and maintain the airport as a separate business.
