BusinessWeek launches phase one of Asia online

BusinessWeek has rolled out the first part of an expanded online offering in Asia as part of the yet-to-launch fully customised edition, due later this year.

The online Asia edition will compliment the global print title, and will cover business news across investing, innovation and technology, along with enhanced content on China and India. The news follows a recent move by the title to close down its regional Asia Pacific title in December last year, a decision prompted by changing reader habits, and slowing circulation and sales.

A new international editorial team has been named, with former regional director north-east Asia, Christina Lee appointed regional director, Asia, responsible for sales and business development, while Jonathan Foster-Kenny has been appointed VP, international sales director. Both will report to newly-appointed VP, international managing director Michael Toedman (pictured).
