Business Week and AWSJ take top SOPA prizes
<p>HONG KONG: Business Week and the Asian Wall Street Journal have come </p><p>away big winners of the 3rd Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) awards </p><p>for editorial excellence. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Business Week took the Excellence in Magazine (English language) prize, </p><p>while AWSJ won the respective accolade for the newspaper section. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Time, Reader's Digest and Newsweek were also big winners on the </p><p>night. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The awards attracted a record 193 entries from across Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Some 200 people attended the event, which was hosted by Publicitas Asia </p><p>chief executive Barrie Goodridge, with the keynote speaker being Ruth De </p><p>Aquino, president of the World Editors Forum. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Full results will be published in the June 22 issue of media. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
