Burson-Matsteller tipped for Samsung Olympics assignment

BEIJING - Samsung Electronics is believed to have named Burson-Marsteller as its preferred PR partner for the brand's Olympics-related communications activity.

The agency prevailed following a competitive review that reportedly included Samsung regional agency Edelman and China partner Ogilvy H-Line. The latter agency is still expected to play a role in Samsung’s China PR activity.

Burson-Marsteller regional president and CEO Bill Rylance declined to comment.
