Jones is currently Roche Pharmaceuticals’ head of global oncology communications, based at its headquarters in Switzerland. Prior to that position, Jones headed up Burson-Marsteller’s Singapore office from 2004 to 2007.
Returning to the agency, Jones is charged with driving business development in the region and will work with teams across the company’s 19 Asia-Pacific offices to expand existing client relationships and build new business.
She will additionally be a regional board member supporting the senior leadership team. She will report to Burson-Marsteller’s Asia-Pacific president and CEO Bob Pickard and will relocate to Australia.
Jones has worked in the industry for 25 years in markets including Australia, Europe and Asia. She has maintained a focus on pharmaceuticals, consumer health and consumer goods, as well as crisis management.
Prior to her time at Roche and Burson-Marsteller, Jones worked at Edelman/Rowland Company for 14 years.
