Leo Burnett has won the Best Global Systems for Mobile
Communications (GSM) TVC award at the GSM World Congress in Cannes.
The TVC promotes SmarTone's international roaming service through
humour.
It features a busy businessman on vacation overseas. However, he is
interrupted when his mobile phone rings and he says: "I hate
SmarTone".
Burnett ECD Eddie Booth said, "We wanted to make a bold statement of the
wide coverage. What better way to show that no matter where you are, the
ever-present mobile phone can always ring."
