Burnett tipped for Chunghwa brief

Leo Burnett Taiwan has reportedly snatched Chunghwa Telecom's newly-consolidated creative brief, worth an estimated US$15.5 million. <BR><BR> Industry sources told Media the final shootout was between Leo Burnett and JWT, with incumbent agencies BBDO and Asatsu contesting the earlier stages of the pitch, alongside Grey and local shop Guo Hwa. The win means Burnett will be responsible for the three previously separate pieces of business: fixed line, data communications and mobile services, for a twelve month period. Government regulations stipulate the brief must be repitched every year.
