Burnett grabs Sprint's collect call deal in Pakistan

<p>KARACHI: Manhattan Leo Burnett has outgunned rivals to win the </p><p>collect call service assignment of US telecommunications company Sprint </p><p>in Pakistan. Sprint declined to disclose details of the pitch or </p><p>billings. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Sprint's director of international marketing, Carolyn Kemp, said the </p><p>company was "particularly impressed with the creative concepts" the </p><p>agency had presented. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Sprint's entry in Pakistan marks the first time that an international </p><p>collect call service has been offered in the country. The service will </p><p>be available between Pakistan and the US in December. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Manhattan managing director Anis Khan expected the service would go down </p><p>well with expatriate Pakistanis, who total 3.5 million. Of this figure, </p><p>400,000 live in the US. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
