Bumrungrad selects JWT Thailand

BANGKOK - JWT has won an integrated advertising assignment for Bumrungrad International Hospital without a pitch.

Y&R, McCann Erickson and Grey had been invited to attend an initial briefing session, but JWT won the business before the session was completed on the strength of a pilot project it executed for the client.

The account will include interactive, advertising, PR and activation.

Bob Hekkelman (pictured), MD of JWT Bangkok, said: “The whole team was inspired to have the opportunity to work with Bumrungrad, a hospital that sets the bar on world-class service and professionalism.”

Kenneth Mays, marketing director of Bumrungrad said, “We were impressed with JWT’s work for other clients and we felt there was good chemistry between our teams.”

Bumrungrad is a five-star 550-bed facility in Bangkok that serves both the local market as well as a growing international clientele for high-quality medical care. The hospital treats one million patients annually.
