The troubled London outpost of Wieden & Kennedy has poached the

creative directors Tony Davidson and Kim Papworth from Bartle Bogle

Hegarty. The pair fill the gap left by the departure of Adam Kean in

March.

The award-winning duo, who become joint creative directors, were behind

the Levi's Sta-Prest Flat Eric campaign at BBH. They have also worked on

Adidas and Volkswagen at Leagas Delaney and BMP DDB respectively.

The team was recently appointed group creative directors at BBH but

decided to leave before taking up the responsibilities of that role.

"People may ask why we're making this move. We got the same reaction

when we moved from BMP to Leagas Delaney, but we see it as a real

challenge.

BBH was a great agency but we wanted to try something small again," Mr

Davidson said.

Papworth added: "Wieden & Kennedy is a great brand that hasn't got off

to a great start in the UK. We believe this is because it hasn't had the

right combination of people at the top."
