BRIEFINGS: Dentsu assumes full control over its subsidiaries in Malaysia, Singapore

<p>Dentsu Inc has dissolved its joint venture agreements with Mandate </p><p>Advertising, with which it had formed two subsidiaries in Singapore and </p><p>Malaysia - Dentsu Mandate Singapore and Dentsu Mandate Malaysia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Dentsu, which previously held stakes of 65 per cent and 58.5 per cent in </p><p>the respective subsidiaries, now owns 100 per cent of both firms. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>An official release from Dentsu said the agency was now better placed to </p><p>offer existing local clients the same level of quality services it </p><p>supplies in Japan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>At the same time, attempts will be made to gain new accounts to support </p><p>future business expansion. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Munehiko Goto has been named president of both Dentsu Singapore and </p><p>Dentsu Malaysia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
