Brewitt leaves H&K role after one year

HONG KONG - Hill & Knowlton is searching for a new regional director for its technology and digital practice, after incumbent chief Faith Brewitt departed the network.

Brewitt, who stepped down from her role after just 12 months with the network, completed her last day with the agency earlier this month (Media, 3 October), according to Hill & Knowlton Hong Kong MD and Asia-Pacific head of financial communications, Denise Maguire. “We’re in the process of looking for a replacement, but in the meantime, it’s business as usual,” she said.

Brewitt’s departure comes just two months after the network landed tech company CA’s consolidated public relations brief from Weber Shandwick (Media, 9 August).

Brewitt was responsible for providing strategic counsel to regional clients in the technology industry along with business development. She joined Hill & Knowlton from Fleishman-Hillard China, where she was GM of the consultancy’s Shanghai operation reporting to China MD, Li Hong. Prior to accepting the Shanghai-based role, Brewitt was SVP of Fleishman-HillardHong Kong.
