Branding: Watson's boosts wine purchasing experience in HK

HONG KONG: Watson's Wine Cellar has set up a fine wine area within its new flagship store in the city's latest upscale shopping centre.

The 820-square-foot outlet at Lee Gardens Two, home to a wide array of designer brands, set aside the area for customers to sample the pleasures of wine in a relaxed setting. The area is equipped with seating, a reference library and television sets for customers to view current promotions, wine production techniques and information about different vineyards.

The store has also introduced an interactive wine kiosk service to make the wine buying experience easier. Customers can retrieve information on origin, taste and suggested food matching of the different labels by scanning the bar code.

Watson's has teamed up with brands such as Penfolds Bins, Chateau Lynch Bages and Veuve Clicquot to promote the new store, its ninth outlet in Hong Kong.
