Branding: Comment - Recovering from a crisis by rebuilding consumers' trust

To no one's surprise, recent media reports on improperly formulated powdered milk in China have created damage to the image of Chinese food, despite the irrelevance of the association. Perception is as damaging as reality. If audiences think or might think there's a problem, then a communications programme should be put in place promptly to address their concerns.
