Music Matters LIVE with HP is a live international music festival featuring a dynamic line-up of over 40 international and Singaporean bands performing at numerous venues around Clarke Quay from 26 to 28 May 2011. It marks the grand finale of the week from 24 to 28 May 2011, that also includes industry forums Music Matters and Digital Matters.

Added Robin Seow, vice-president of marketing for Asia-Pacific and Japan for personal systems group at HP, “HP is proud to partner with Music Matters to lead the way in creating a unique event for bands and music enthusiasts to pursue and achieve their passion for music. At Music Matters, HP is expanding (its) Beats Audio advantage that is used by the world’s leading artistes like Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys and JJ Lin to the region’s most promising music talent and music lovers.”
This is the first time that Music Matters and Digital Matters will be staged in Singapore.
Edward Chew, director of exhibitions and conferences at the Singapore Tourism Board, said they are excited that these events will be leveraging Singapore’s growing entertainment scene and the strengths of its digital media sector to add to their dynamism and success.
For its annual fundraising, this year Music Matters will produce a track featuring Asian bands and artists, pushing listeners and viewers to donate directly to a number of Japanese charities.
