Submissions from advertising agencies and client companies were about 35 per cent above the entry target set for the competition.
Entries have been received from a cross-section of markets such as Japan, China, India, and North and Southeast Asia.
Thirteen client companies, including Morgan Stanley, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong telco CSL, Standard Chartered, Singapore telco StarHub and Coca-Cola, have submitted entries.
Ogilvy & Mather, McCann-Erickson, Leo Burnett and DDB provided the largest pool of entries from the agency sector.
A panel of 12 judges, comprising senior marketers and regional advertising creative chiefs, will judge entries on August 21 and 22.
Awards, including the highest accolade of a Platinum prize, will be presented at a gala dinner in Singapore in September.
