Wilken said the move was “purely personal” and that he will continue to service his Asia-based clients from Vancouver. He helped found The Brand Company in 2002 and oversaw its buyout to Chris Ingram’s UK-based consultancy, Ingram, early last year.
The news follows confirmation that Ingram is planning to scale back operations in London, and possibly sell off the company, after disappointing results. “It remains a challenge in London to get clients to pay a premium for the intangible strategies that we offer,” Wilken said.
