BPA adds online offering through Nielsen link

GLOBAL - BPA Worldwide has teamed with Nielsen Online to offer print- and event-focused media owners a package that will allow them to gauge website traffic alongside circulation and event attendance in order to better ascertain a title's health.

BPA, which primarily audits the circulation of niche and consumer magazines, newspapers and websites, will be able to measure print products‚ web activity real time through Nielsen’s SiteCensus service.

The product’s beta test will run from this month through to December for some of BPA’s current clients, and the completed product‚s launch is slated to roll out in January.

The move differentiates BPA from other audit companies by analysing digital and real results in conjunction with one another, said BPA president and CEO Glenn Hansen.

"This integrated pricing, integrated media‚ approach is vital to BPA's mission to lead the world in media auditing," Hansen said in a release. "And that mission only becomes truly validated when we can say whatever the channel."
