Rock icon and now a well-respected actor, Jon Bon Jovi, is
appearing throughout the region in an anti-drugs television commercial
where the message is that, "A life with drugs is no life at all."
The spot dove-tails neatly with the band's long-awaited new single and
current hit titled It's My Life.
Produced by Siren Films and written by Mr Hans Ebert, VP creative
services and corporate communications for Universal Music Asia-Pacific,
the 30-second spot filmed on-the-run when the band was in Japan on a
short promotional visit, is presently being aired on music channels and
terrestrial channels through the region.
This is the second time that Jon Bon Jovi has appeared in an anti-drug
message produced specifically for this region, the first PSA also having
been written by Mr Ebert.
Other Universal acts about to contribute to addressing teen-related
subjects and problems will be SClub7, Aqua and a number of the recording
company's local artists.
