Boehringer selects Aegis Media

MANILA - Pharmaceuticals giant Boehringer Ingelheim has awarded its 150 million pesos (US$4 million) Philippine media business to Aegis Media agency Vizeum/Media Force.

The company best known for its Pharmaton vitamins and Bisolvon cough syrup brands in the Philippines will shift its media account from Maxus after a three-year relationship with the WPP agency.

Vizeum/Media Force secured the business after a pitch with Omnicom's OMD and the incumbent.

The win is welcome news for Vizeum/Media Force, which missed out on the digital portion of Coca-Cola's media account earlier this week.
