BOC selects M&C Saatchi for card launch

SHANGHAI - Olympic sponsor Bank of China has chosen M&C Saatchi Shanghai to implement a communications campaign surrounding the launch of a new Olympic-themed Visa card in China.

Bank of China, which is rolling out the new series in a bid to capitalise on the hype surrounding the Olympics, will kick off proceedings in late October/early November. The campaign will feature five specially-design cards, which are based on the concept of a traditional Chinese chop, each in different colour variants of the Olympic rings.

The push is expected to include print, OOH and ambient in Shanghai.
