BMW selects Ogilvy for regional PR

SINGAPORE - BMW Asia has handed its regional PR account to Ogilvy PR, displacing incumbent Fleishman-Hillard.

The manufacturer’s first open PR pitch, as reported in Media (4 April, 2007), was initiated as part of an annual review.

According to Michael TH Lim, manager of corporate affairs, BMW Asia: “We believe Ogilvy will bring new perspectives, ideas and approaches.”

Commencing work on 1 May, Ogilvy’s first task is to assist in planning for the launch of the new BMW X5.
