BMW selects Naga DDB in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - BMW has consolidated its integrated creative business into Naga DDB and sister agency Rapp Collins in Malaysia.

The agencies saw off a combined Leo Burnett/Arc pitch team and local agency BMBC - a local affiliate of Thai incumbent InterOne - to win the business.

Meanwhile, at Naga sister agency DDB International, (DDBI) former chief executive Florence Loh is believed to be involved in a dispute with her former employers over the terms of her resignation, which stipulate that she is not permitted to work at a rival agency within six months of leaving. DDBI also remains without its ECD Roger Pe, who has not appeared at work for over a month. Pe, who has made unexplained disappearances in the past, has been replaced by an unnamed CD from sister agency Naga DDB in the interim.

JWT Kuala Lumpur MD, Neal Estavillo is set to replace Florence Loh at DDBI on 1 November.
