Bluetooth rolls out cheeky multimarket blast for Bluetrek X2

<P>Wireless headset company Bluetooth has unveiled a cheeky campaign featuring a hippopotamus to raise awareness of its water-resistant Bluetrek X2 device. Developed by Hong Kong-based Eight Partnership, the creative  will rolling out across global markets. </P> <P><br><br><BR>Rather than focusing on technical and functional aspects, the campaign seeks to draw attention to the headset's "great looks", according to Eight creative partner, Chris Kyme. </P> <P><br><br><BR>"We asked ourselves whose pretty head would most appreciate a great looking water-resistant product like the X2. Our creative team, Jessie Fung and Polly Chan, came up with the not-so obvious answer - a mud-loving hippo," he said. </P> <P><br><br><BR>The copy at the bottom of the ad reads: 'The X2. Loves mud and water as much as you do.' </P> <P> </P>
