Bloomberg to shortlist from a field of ten

SINGAPORE - A field of ten agencies are in contention for the first round of pitching for the regional creative account of Bloomberg Television.

A short-list will most likely be announced at the end of this month, confirmed Jowell Choa, affiliate relations & marketing, Bloomberg Asia Pacific. However, she would not reveal the agencies in contention.

The broadcaster is talking to "large to medium-size" networks with a view to creating pan-Asia Pacific campaigns to localise the Bloomberg brand for Asia audiences.

To date, most of Bloomberg's advertising has originated from its home market, the US.

Bloomberg's advertising spend in the region will focus on TV, print and out-of-home media in key financial hubs such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
