Berglund adds heft to Cheil digital offer

SEOUL - Cheil has moved to bolster its digital capabilities, hiring Andrew Berglund to the newly-created position of global interactive creative director in Seoul.

Berglund was previously ECD at BBDO’s Interone Worldwide agency in Germany, and has over 12 years experience in digital creative.

“Digital communications is an industry that is continually evolving,” said Berglund.  “My ambition is to help Cheil and its clients explore and push the boundaries in the interactive digital arena.”

The move comes as Cheil continues its attempts to lift its creative product, under global ECD Joe McDonagh. Berglund recently took home silver and bronze at the 2007 Cannes Lions

“The focus is becoming more about the idea, and that will hopefully shed some new light on the creative talent here,” said McDonagh.
