Bellamy Hayden wins Thai rock festival

BANGKOK - Communications planning agency Bellamy Hayden, which officially launched in Thailand last year, has landed a contract with artist management and event promotion company Riverman.

The first brief for the Australia-based agency will be to promote a rock festival that will launch in Thailand later this year.

James Sowden (pictured), MD of Bellamy Hayden Southeast Asia, commented: "Music and event marketing can easily become a very formulaic and bland category. We want to bring some of the fervour seen at music events and through peer-to-peer digital networks to promote this event for us. We will be using Thai rock fans as our primary communication channel."

"Bellamy Hayden showed us a completely different perspective in how to promote music events in Asia," said David McLean, a director at Riverman. "We want to work closely with them to grow our event footprint over the next few years."
