Beiersdorf hands HK media to Carat

HONG KONG - Carat has won media planning and buying duties worth US$2 million for Beiersdorf in Hong Kong, displacing incumbent PHD, and extending its relationship with the client to seven Asian countries.

The shift will see Carat handle media for key brands Nivea and Elastoplast. “It was our consumer centric approach that stood us apart,” says Will Swayne, MD of Carat Hong Kong. While TV and print will remain lead media, OOH and digital are expected to become increasingly important.

Carat now works with Beiersdorf in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Malaysia and Thailand.
