Beck departs as CMX reshuffles management

SHANGHAI - China Media Exchange CEO Philip Beck will step down from the role this month, as part of several management changes for the Publicis Groupe Media unit on the mainland.

Beck, who joined CMX from ZenithOptimedia’s diversified services unit last year (Media, 15 June), will not be directly replaced, with Publicis Groupe Media and CMX chairman Phil Talbot assuming his responsibilities.

In other moves, Karl Wu joins CMX as chief operating officer, handling the company’s day-to-day operations and service delivery, while Warren Hui has been promoted to managing director, overseeing CMX TV, print and radio negotiations.
