BBH to reposition Virgin Upper Class as 'premium' deal

ASIA-PACIFIC: BBH Asia-Pacific has been appointed by Virgin Atlantic Airways to reposition the airline's Upper Class Suite as the premium flight class, focusing on features such as the world's biggest inflight flat bed, large 10.4-inch display screen and power sockets in-seat.

Virgin Atlantic Japan marketing manager Katsuya Suzuki said the agency won with its "rigorous and strategic approach to brand fame" and its ability to share the airline's brand values of "care, honesty, innovation and fun".

BBH Asia-Pacific CEO Ben Fennel said the agency would apply "core learnings" from the luxury youth and FMCG sectors.

BBH earlier announced significant income growth of 40 per cent year-on-year in September and 50 per cent increase in headcount. Its client list in Asia includes Levi's and Mercedes-Benz.
