BBH Singapore has promoted David Webster to managing director.

Webster, who formerly occupied the managing partner and chief growth officer role, will have more say in the running of the business and will continue to lead clients, including Nike. He reports to John Hadfield, CEO of BBH Singapore, who said: "This is a natural progression for David. Over the past 10 years he has made a huge contribution to BBH Singapore, yet I believe his best is still to come."

Webster first joined BBH Asia-Pacific in 2008, as business director. He was previously managing director of Black Sheep Studios and Black Sheep design, BBH's internal production company, in Singapore.

Webster will not replace any outgoing MD in his new role: the last MD of the Singapore office was Frances Great, who left in 2015 and is now CEO of BBH LA.
