BBH hires W+K MD for Shanghai

BBH has hired Wieden + Kennedy's managing director in Japan, Arto Hampartsoumian, as chief executive officer for its Shanghai start-up. The agency has also promoted Charles Wigley, its planner in Singapore, to chairman, and relocated John Hadfield from its London office to Singapore, allowing the office's CEO Ben Fennell to focus on BBH's expanding regional presence. "We are banking on tried and tested BBH talent alongside the best talent we can get outside for our expansion," said Fennel.
