BBDO Singapore on alert as KFC reviews

SINGAPORE - Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has put incumbent BBDO on alert as it prepares to face off against McCann Erickson and JWT in a closed-door pitch for the local creative account.

According to a source, KFC is looking for fresh creative ideas as it expands its business. The client has waived RFIs, and agencies will present solutions to the brief in mid-October. The pitch follows months after the departure of two BBDO creatives who worked on the account, ECD Farrokh Madon and ACD Goh Wee Kim, to McCann Erickson.

The client declined to comment.
